Day 1 – Arrival in Cairo
Welcome to the fascinating land of the Pharaohs! Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, complete the immigration and customs formalities before meeting your local representative. Transfer to your hotel and complete the check-in formalities. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local Indian restaurant.
Day 2 – Alexandria Excursion
After breakfast, proceed on a scenic drive to Alexandria, the historic Mediterranean city on the Mediterranean coast. Begin your sightseeing with a visit to the fascinating Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa and the famous Pompey's Pillar. Continue your sightseeing with a visit to the impressive Roman Amphitheatre, followed by a photo stop at the magnificent Qaitbay Citadel (outside view). Return to Cairo in the evening
Day 3 – Wonders of Ancient Egypt | Train to Aswan
After breakfast, begin your exploration of Cairo with a visit to the legendary Pyramids of Giza and enjoy an outside view of the iconic Great Sphinx, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Continue with visits to the famous Perfume and Papyrus Shops before discovering the spectacular Grand Egyptian Museum, home to one of the world's finest collections of ancient Egyptian treasures. Later, transfer to the railway station to board your overnight sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner will be served onboard.
Day 4 – Cairo – Aswan | Nile Cruise
Upon arrival in Aswan, enjoy breakfast onboard the sleeper train before beginning your sightseeing. Visit the beautiful Philae Temple and the impressive Aswan High Dam. Later, stop at a local Cotton Gallery before proceeding to board your luxurious Nile River Cruise. Enjoy lunch and dinner onboard as you relax and prepare for your unforgettable Nile sailing experience.
Day 5 – Abu Simbel | Kom Ombo
Early in the morning, proceed by road to visit the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples, one of Egypt's greatest archaeological masterpieces. Return to the cruise and enjoy lunch onboard as you sail towards Kom Ombo. In the evening, visit the unique Kom Ombo Temple along with the fascinating Crocodile Museum before continuing your cruise towards Edfu.
Day 6 – Edfu – Esna – Luxor
After breakfast, enjoy a traditional Horse Carriage Ride to visit the magnificent Temple of Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Continue sailing towards Luxor through the famous Esna Lock while enjoying lunch onboard. Upon arrival in Luxor, visit the iconic Luxor Temple (subject to cruise arrival time). Dinner will be served onboard.
Day 7 – Luxor | Hurghada
After breakfast, disembark from the cruise and explore Luxor's legendary West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings, the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the towering Colossi of Memnon. Continue your sightseeing with visits to the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex and the iconic Luxor Temple. Later, travel by private air-conditioned coach to the beautiful Red Sea resort town of Hurghada. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy dinner. Optional: Hot Air Balloon Ride (at additional cost).
Day 8 – Leisure in Hurghada
After breakfast, spend the day at leisure, relaxing at the hotel or exploring Hurghada at your own pace. Lunch and dinner will be served at the hotel.
Day 9 – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and travel by private air-conditioned coach to Cairo International Airport. En route, enjoy lunch before proceeding to the airport for your onward flight back home with unforgettable memories of your Egyptian holiday.
